In addition to her father, her husband Jim Smith, a son Darrell Smith, great grandson Jadon Brown preceded her in death along with four brothers Bill, Kenneth, Johnny and Dewey, two sisters Ann Akers and Rosie Smith. Survivors include her mother Alva Houck Haney of Beckley; four sons Mike Smith of Green Camp, Jimmy (Teresa) Smith of Glen Fork, Joseph (Lisa) Smith of Ghent and Kenneth (Kim) Smith of Bedford, VA; a daughter Diana (Jackie) Hart of Coal City; two sisters Dorothy Hamilton of Welch and Mary (Benny) Mullins of Bluefield; two brothers Howard Haney and Bobby Haney both of Roderfield; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends.
