"Virgil Larry Hatfield, 56, of Browning Fork section of Gilbert, departed this life on Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at King's Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, KY. Virgil was a disabled rock driller and of the Baptist Faith."Born March 8, 1951, at Browning Fork, he was the beloved son of the late Jesse Hatfield (Deceased) and Mary Hatfield-Hatfield (Deceased). In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Hatfield- Hatfield (Deceased); his beloved son, Virgil Larry Hatfield, Jr. (Deceased); four brothers and four sisters.
"Survivors include his companion of eleven years, Donna Mounts; a special person he called his daughter, Rachel Mounts; three brothers, Arnold Hatfield & wife Betty Hatfield, Arvil Hatfield & wife Rita Hatfield, and Layton Hatfield & wife Crystal Hatfield; three sisters, Juanita Hatfield-Carter & husband Rush Carter, Izetta Hatfield-Collins & husband Douglas Collins, and Immogene Hatfield-Hatfield & husband Roby) Hatfield; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
