He graduated from Bramwell High School in 1952 and also attended Emory and Henry College and McLane’s Business School.
"He was a proud veteran – serving in both the United States Army and United States Air Force – and earned the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. He was also a prominent businessman – having owned and managed two Amoco Filling Stations, a mine service repair, and a mine in Algoma, WV. He was an avid outdoorsman.
"In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Krislin Helmondollar, and two siblings, Alma Collins and Richard Gills.

"Bonnie’s life is an amazing testament to the goodness of God, His faithfulness, and His abiding love. She reflected her unwavering passion for Christ through servanthood, her heart for worship, and an unconditional love she had for everyone she met.
"She was an incredible cook (especially biscuits and gravy), but it was her heart that nourished us most deeply through countless meals shared around her table. She adored her family and was always ready with a warm embrace. Her smile and laughter were contagious – truly, the joy of the Lord.
"She loved Christmas and all its festivities, and ensured the season was a true celebration of Christ and the hope we have in Him.
"She was a dedicated member of Montcalm Church of God – having served as pianist for over 60 years, clerk, Sunday School teacher, and ladies ministries treasurer.

He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on May 10, 1957, to the late Buford David Collins and Alma Delores Gills Collins. Jeff was a lifelong resident of Duval County. After attending Ed White High School, Jeff initially worked in the family business, Collins Produce, before discovering his true passion as a truck driver. Jeff had a long successful career at Pepsi and Pat Salmon & Son's. In the mid-1970s, Jeff met his best friend and forever companion, Yvonne Renee Wright, while at church. They were happily married on December 8, 1977. Jeff was a devoted husband, loving father, brother, grandfather and friend who cherished time with his family more than anything. He found much joy in the peacefulness of the outdoors and truly loved fishing and gardening. Jeff also enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and cheering for his all-time favorite driver, Richard Petty. Jeff was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kevin and David Collins; sister, Belinda Vining; and sister-in-law, Lisa Collins.
