"MONTCALM — Ronnie Lee Woolridge, age 56, of Rt. 2, Montcalm, W.Va., formerly of Roderfield, W.Va., went to be with the Lord, Saturday morning, July 17, 2010 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family by his side. Born February 8, 1954 in Iaeger, W.Va., he was the son of Trula Fern Christian Carter of Roderfield, W.Va. and the late Harry William Woolridge. He attended the Ark of Safety Church, Roderfield, W.Va. at the time of his death. He was employed at Papa John's Pizza, Bluefield, Va. at the time of his death, and was a resident of Montcalm for the past 30 years."Other than his father, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Misty Dawn Woolridge; his stepfather, Bill Carter; and one brother, Paul Carter.
"Other than his mother, Trula Fern Christian Carter of Roderfield, W.Va., he leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Mary Kelly Woolridge of the home; four sons, Jason Woolridge and wife Mae of Montcalm, W.Va., Bradley Woolridge and wife Desarae of Montcalm, W.Va., Brian Woolridge of Wytheville, Va., and Richard Woolridge of Rural Retreat, Va.; one daughter, Jennifer Woolridge of Wytheville, Va.; three brothers, Lincoln Woolridge and wife Libby of Fort Mill, S.C., Henry Carter and wife Sue of Peterstown, W.Va., David Carter and wife Donna of Roderfield, W.Va.; five sisters, Sandra Woolridge Horn and husband Jess of Indianapolis, Ind., Thelma Crockett of War, W.Va., Mary Lester and husband Carl of Roderfield, W.Va., Lilly Carter of Mullins, W.Va., Faye Zambounis and husband George of Sheffield Lake, Ohio; four beautiful grandchildren, Zachary, Ashley, Richard, and Brian Woolridge; and other extended family.
"Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ark of Safety Church, Roderfield, W.Va. with the Reverend John Kelly, the Reverend Gene Ball, and the Reverend Kenneth Felts officiating. Burial will follow at Iaeger Memorial Cemetery, Roderfield, W.Va...."
