"Sharon Hurley Stowers of Iaeger, WV died peacefully at the age of 92 on December 4, 2025."Sharon was born in Lookout Kentucky, a daughter of the late David Crockett and Earl Smith Hurley. Sharon married the love of her life, John Martin Stowers Jr. and lived most of her 92 years in Iaeger, WV. Sharon was the head cook at Iaeger Elementary and retired after 30 years of service.
"In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Stowers, her son Larry Wayne Stowers; an infant daughter, Teresa Sue Stowers. Sharon is also preceded in death by her sisters Thelma (Lloyd) Beavers, Mabel Tanner, Irene Thrasher and Peggy (Lloyd) Brown; brothers James Hurley, Curtis Hurley and Charles Hurley; and a special brother, David Tanner.
