Darrell attended the Christian Freewill Baptist Church, a United States Army Veteran and a retired coal miner. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Rosa Lee Blankenship Walls a daughter Rosa Tilley granddaughters Drema Walls and brothers Jimmy, Ardell, Arley, Lowell and Danny Walls and sisters Opal Lester, Betty Woolum and Hazel Morgan. Survivors include two daughters Crystal Hatfield and husband Jerry of Lillydale and Lindsey Walls of Glenville three sons Darrell Glen Walls, Jr. of Oceana, Michael Lee Walls and wife Melissa of Lorado and Nathan Leander Walls of Cyclone a sister Florence Cline of Belle four grandchildren Zackary Tilley, Lea Walls, Katrina Walls and Darrell James Walls six great grandchildren Rylie, Ryder, Colton, Sicily, James, Timothy and one due to arrive in June and a host of other loving family and friends.
