"Cataline Bobbie Perry, 82, of Cyclone, WV took her journey home surrounded by family on February 17, 2020
following a 14 month battle with cancer. Born June 13, 1937 in Sunhill, WV the daughter of the late Garland
"Bud" and Stella Brinegar Carter. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 59
years Billy Ray Perry; a son Wilfred Wesley Perry; four brothers Roy, Buddy, Roger, and Bill Carter; a sister Helen
Workman; and father-in-law Hayes Perry. Bobbie was a homemaker that devoted her life to her church, family ,
and her community. She was a member of Cyclone Missionary Baptist Church for 50 years. She taught the
toddlers in Sunday School, sang in the choir, taught Vacation Bible School, was President of Ladies Aide and
Church custodian. Bobbie was in charge of Food Baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas, she always made sure
that each Veteran received both Valentines and Christmas cards, directed many church plays. One of her favorite
accomplishments was earning the title of Miss Bobbie" from her Sunday School children. Her hobbies include
working in her flower garden and fishing at Smith Mountain Lake. Those left to cherish her memory are her five
daughters Gloria Brinkley of Cyclone, Karen (Pat) Browning of Cooks Addition, Erma (Tim) Mutters of Oceana,
Teresa (Timmy) Justice of Davin, Jennifer Mathis of Dunbar; one son Brian (Robin) Perry of Accoville; twelve
grandchildren Patrick Browning, Tessa Brinkley, Stephanie Florence, Joshua Mutters, Christin Young, Timothy
Mutters, T. J. Justice, Kelsey Hurley, Trey Mathis, Joshua Perry, Andrew Backus and T. J. Hoosier; great
grandchildren Coleton Browning, Keelyn Osborne, Savannah Goodwin, Bristol and Kyndall Florence, Luxley and
Zeke Mutters and Kalyn Diegert; her mother-in-law Rosie Perry; two brothers Eddie (Wanda) Carter and Danny
(Darlene) Carter all of Glen Fork; three sisters Carol (Gordon) Mudgett of Moab, UT, Janice (Everette) Jesse of
Bud, Dorothy Brooks of Beckley; sister-in-laws Mary Carter, Mary Canterbury, Sherry Spaulding, Judy Walls,
Darlene Perry, and Betty Miller; one brother-in-law James Perry; aunt Mary Brinegar; a special friend of 31 years
Cathy Dameron; along with a host of other friends and relatives. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Sunday
February 23rd at the Cyclone Missionary Baptist Church, Cyclone, WV with Pastor Stephen Walls, Brian Perry and
Patrick Browning officiating. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may
gather with the family from 5-8 pm on Saturday February 22nd in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home,
