"Lonnie Lewis Lusk, 81, of Oceana, WV passed away on November 15, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital,
Charleston, WV. He was born on December 30, 1934 in Cyclone, WV a son of the late Onnie Pierce and Mary
Ellen Bailey Lusk. Lonnie was a member of the UMWA Local 7604 and a member of the Lacoma Baptist
Church. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife Edith Elzoria Dancy Lusk; a son
Jerry Lusk; and two brothers Landon and Jackie Lusk. Survivors include two daughters Rebecca Susan
(Matt) Adams of Oceana and Sandra (Mackie) Canada of Pineville; a son Ricky Lusk of Oceana; three sisters
Lucy Grubb, Gretcha Brown and Sylvia Gibson; two brothers Earnel Lusk and Leonard Lusk; six
grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at noon on
Saturday, November 19, 2016 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Ron

"CYCLONE - Travis Marvin Lusk, departed this life Saturday, April 14, 2007, at the age of 71 years, nine months, and 27 days, at Raleigh General Hospital, following a short illness. "Born June 18, 1935, at Huff Creek. He was the son of the late Marvin and Winnie Brown Lusk. "Mr. Lusk was a retired coal miner having worked 361?2 years at Peabody Coal Company. He joined Cyclone Church of God on July 5, 1970 and became a deacon in January 31, 1971. On July 22, 1970, Brother Travis seconded a motion to start organizing Sunday School in the church. Also, the date of church homecoming was the first Sunday in August dated also in this meeting. He loved his church and the people in the church. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on lawnmowers. "In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Justine Workman Lusk; and two grandchildren, Kimberly and Kevin Lusk.
