She was a former employee of Maidenform in Princeton and was co-owner of Chandler Cabinet Supply in Princeton.
"In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lee Chandler, Sr. in 2006; three brothers, Levi Simpson, John Harrison Simpson and infant, Guy Rowe; and four sisters, Annie McKinney, Grace Massey, Jennie Sizemore and Lottie Rowe.
"Survivors include one son, Dr. Charles L. Chandler, Jr. and his wife Judy; one daughter, Norma Stadvec and her husband Daniel; four grandchildren, Lee Chandler, Jonathan Chandler and his wife Stacie, Jordan Stadvec and Morgan Stadvec; and four sisters, Bessie Flaim and her husband Guido, Erma Lane, Ruby Hess and Zola Trivett and her husband Mark.
