"PS: We spent a lot of our Holidays with Zachariah & Irine. She cooked our meals & picked up after all of us but never ask us to even wash a dish. She was quite & went to church with us.,
I never gave much thought to Irine until I started working on my Family History, then remembered that she had been very good to all of us. Mother & Dad took care of Zachariah when he got to old to take care of him self, we called him Daddy Roark. He loved to wade the river when we went swimming in the swimming hole we had created in the river.
"Some one related to Irine Hankins was buried in the cemetery on the farm. I believe it might have been her sister. I was a child then, but remember hearing some one saying she was young & had several children. I remember seeing one of the girls at school, & I heard that a teacher had adopted her. She was a beautiful girl with fair complexion & coal black hair."
