Born January 30, 1943 in Mullens, she was the daughter of the late Phillip V. Graham and Kathleen Little Graham.
For many years, Mildred worked as an LPN in WV, Ohio and Indiana. While her health permitted, she and her husband Samuel sung in churches. She loved working crossword puzzles and was devoted to her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Stacy Graham.
Those left to cherish her memory, her husband of 53 years, Samuel Leonard Damewood; Three children, Denny Harold Smith Jr. and wife Teresa, Sandra Lynn Turner and Kimberly Ann Bridges;
Eight grandchildren; Ten great-grandchildren; Three siblings, Joyce Blankenship, Wilma Kirk, and Bobby Graham;
a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 17, 2018 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor David Damewood officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. .."

"Rebecca Dawn "Becky" Smith, 41, of Mullens was called home to reunite with her Dad and her Lord on Friday, December 21, 2012 in a Charleston hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident."Born June 27, 1971 at Fort Lee, Virginia, she was the daughter of Eva Hill Smith of Mullens and the late Everett Smith.
"She was a homemaker; a sales associate in retail sales; and a member of the Mullens Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved spending time with her sons, nieces and nephews, and she loved talking with her friends.
"When we pause to remember Becky we shall remember her willingness to witness to others about her Lord and Savior and that she was an inspiration to everyone she met.
"In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Naomi Hill; and her father-in-law, Denny Smith.
"Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Mark A. (Boomer) Smith; she was the loving mother of two sons, Taylor and Tanner Smith, both at home; her mother, Eva Hill Smith of Mullens; a sister, Melinda Price and her husband, Jason, of Shady Springs; nieces and nephews, Tyler, Joey, Kiersten, Katlin, and Alyssa, all of Shady Springs; and her mother-in-law, Bonita Kay Lane Smith of Bud Mtn.
"Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 28, 2012 at the Mullens Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Lewis Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley."
