"EVANS, Ga. — Lou Ann Jones, 73, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Ga. "Lou Ann was born on June 11, 1937 in Glen Rogers, W.Va., to Lillie Mae and John Sizemore. "She grew up and graduated from Glen Rogers High School in 1955, moving to Dayton, Ohio, where she met and married Raymond Jones. Lou Ann was a homemaker until 1969, when she was employed by Stone Container of Mansfield, Ohio. She retired in 1989, moving to Martinez, Ga., along with Raymond. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, and was a member of the Red Hat Society, and Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church. "Lou Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Jones, and her son, David Jones. "She is survived by her eldest son, Thomas Jones and wife Phyllis, youngest son, Mike Jones, grandchildren, Jessica and James Jones. "A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Eddie Bradford and Rev. Timothy Pond officiating...."
