"Holly Ray Paugh, 71, of Weston went home to be with the Lord at 12:57 a.m. on May 12, 2009, in the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center of Clarksburg, following a brief illness.
"He was born in Jackson County on August 25, 1937; son of the late Orville Jackson Paugh and Geneva (Starcher) Paugh.
"He was married to the former Patricia Ann Hefner, who survives.
"Mr. Paugh is also survived by three children, Pamela Paugh Bates and husband Robert and Michael Joe Paugh and wife Cheryl, both of Florida, and Brenda Lea Paugh Smith and fiance Doug Murphy of Weston. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Shannon and Dustin Bates, Rachael and Mike Paugh Jr., and Travis McCloy; two brothers, Robert E. Paugh and Jackie Paugh; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Paugh was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Paugh.
Mr. Paugh was a dozer operator with Trenton Energy of Ellenboro. He attended the Haleville Union Mission Church of Weston. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

"Dewey L. “Duke” Marrs, 63, of Brenton, passed away Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, in Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, following a long illness.
"Born Feb. 15, 1947, at Baileysville, he was the son of the late Lawrence Earl and Rhada Lusk Marrs.
Duke was a member of Brenton Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a star basketball player at Baileysville High School where he won state and county honors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bessie Lusk and his father-in-law, Burgess Miller.
