"SQUIRE — Clifford Edward “Bo” Mitchem, Jr., age 60, of Squire, W.Va., died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, W.Va. Born August 17, 1950 at Abbs Valley, Va., he was a son of the late Clifford Edward Mitchem, Sr. and Edith Graham Mitchem. He was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Livelystone Church at Squire, W.Va. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Fannie Lea Mitchem; one sister, Judy Lewis; one brother, Benny Wayne Mitchem; and daughter-in-law, Diana Lee Mitchem. "Survivors include his wife, Teresa Taylor Mitchem of Squire, W.Va.; one son, Virgil Mitchem of Squire, W.Va.; two daughters, Rebecca Woods and husband, Andy of Bishop, Va. and Victoria Lee Mitchem of Apex, N.C.; three brothers, Lonnie Mitchem and wife, Linda, Clarence Mitchem and wife, Joan, all of Trinity, N.C., and Jack Mitchem and wife, Judy of Pocahontas, Va.; five sisters, Nellie Murphy and husband, Harold, Mary Wyatt and husband, Charles, Shirley Marrs and husband, Alvin, all of Trinity, N.C., Betty McCormick of Nemors, W.Va., and Dorothy Auton of Coaldale, W.Va.; nine grandchildren, Brooke Mitchem, Autumn Mitchem, Dylan Mitchem, Dustin Mitchem, Chance Altizer, Jeffery Walker, Anthony Walker, Marissa Wyatt, and Abby Woods.; three stepsons, Michael Taylor of Denver, N.C., Nathan Armes of Kenton, Ohio, and Justin Armes of Mt. Holley, N.C. "Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, Va. with Pastor Roger Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at the Mitchem Family Cemetery in Squire, W.Va..."
