"Mrs. Reed was a homemaker, she was a member of Delilah United Metodist Church where she was the oldest member, and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
"In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two husbands, first husband, Pierce Acord and 2nd husband, Herbert Reed; two sons, Pierce Acord and Aubrey Dale Acord; five sisters; and three brothers.
"Those left to cherish her memory are four sons, Franklin D. Acord, Sr., and wife Lena of Elkins, Kennie R. Acord and wife, Sue of Matheny, Coy B. Acord and wife Lottie of VA., and Hebert Steven Reed and wife Shirley of Matheny; four daughters, Nancy Jean Frazier of Chester, VA., Clairce K.
