"In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Madgeline "Madge" Hall-Compton (Deceased); a great-grandson, Stevie Strickland (Deceased); four brothers, Lester Jean Compton (1938-2003), King "Junior" Harrison Compton Jr. (Deceased), and James Compton (Deceased), and Evert McKinney (Deceased); and half sisters, Anna Belle Compton-Akers (1890-1920) and Vicie Compton-Elkins (Deceased).
