"MULLENS — Thelma Marie Price, 92, of Mullens, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley following a short illness. "Born April 13, 1918 at Corinne Bottom (Power Plant Bottom), she was the daughter of the late Saul and Mary (Whitt) Mullins. "Mrs. Price was a homemaker, a lifelong resident of Wyoming County, she attended the Corinne Baptist Church and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. "In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde A. Price; three sisters, Belle Cole, Amanda Roten, and Hattie Whitt; seven brothers, Warren, Edward, Johnny, Denver, Harless, Benny and Arthur Mullins; and a special nephew, Jack Greene and his wife, Jo Ann. "Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Janice Dowell of Chicago, Ill., Patty Sisk and her husband, Ray of Laurel, Del., and Dana Ashley and her husband, Dave of Mullens; two granddaughters, Tammi Allen and her husband, Jerry and Lorrie Cosme and her companion, Marty Lucatomo; one grandson, Bill Dowell; three great grandchildren, Chassidy, Michael and Josh; one great great granddaughter, Maiya; one very special nephew, Carl Greene and his wife, Betty; a special friend and caregiver, Tina Ingram of Sophia; and a host of nieces and nephews. "Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2010, at Mullens Pentecostal Holiness Church, Guyandotte Ave., Mullens, with Rev. Lewis Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in Monte Vista Park Cemetery, Bluefield, W.Va..."
