"Jason Wayne Thornsberry, 43, of Mooresville, NC, formerly of Raysal, WV, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016, at his residence. Jason was born April 19, 1972 in Welch, WV, a son of Jerry Wayne and Debby Hite Thornsberry. He worked at Freight Liner Enterprise located in Mooresvile, NC. Jason graduated from Iaeger High School in 1990 where he played football for three years. He enjoyed deer hunting, turkey hunting, and flee marketing. Jason is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Everett and Elizabeth Hite and his paternal grandfather, Tom Thornsbury, Jr. Jason is survived by his parents, Jerry and Debby Hite Thornsberry of Raysal, WV; his paternal grandmother, Amie Baker Thornsbury of Jolo, WV; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who will greatly miss him. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 5, 2016 at 1 o'clock with Bishop James Daniel Estep and Reverend Robert Huddler officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV.
