"On Monday, December 21st, 2009 our beloved June Belcher Toler, of Midland, North Carolina, formerly of Glen Rogers, Piney View and Silver Springs, Maryland passed away at the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, North Carolina. She was in her 78th year. Born Wilda June Belcher on August 29, 1931 in Wyoming County, she was the eldest of ten children born to the late Eldon and Chloe Nester Belcher. Brothers, Jerry and Jimmy also preceded her death. June was married to James Carmel Toler who preceded her in death. To this union was born three children, she was the dear mother of the late Julie Ann Adams, Michael Toler of Laurel MD, and Laura Coffey of Arvada, CO; the doting grandmother of Laura and Vanessa ; the proud great grandmother of Daniel and James; the sweet sister of Johnny Belcher and Joe Belcher both of Glen Rogers, Jean Snuffer and Judy Cordell both of Midland, Janella Bailey of Glen Fork, Hope Miller of Crab Orchard and Jo Ann Hutsenpillar of Union Hall, VA; the fond aunt of several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 26th at 1:00 p.m. at the Melton Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Parent officiating. June will then be laid to rest beside her husband, James at the Sunset Memorial Park..."
