"Betty Jewell Bradford, 92 of Fanrock, WV, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025 with her family by her side. She was born March 31, 1933 a daughter of the late Wallace and Lillian Jewell. Betty was retired from Wyoming County Board of Education with more than 35 years of service. She served as secretary at Brenton Grade School and Kindergarten aide at Baileysville Elementary School. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Carles Bradford, Sr., her sons Carles “Bob” Bradford, Jr., and Jackie Bradford, a daughter Mary Stanley, grandsons Harvey “Chuck” Gentry, Jr., Kelly Wells, and infants Teddy Gentry and Jamie Bradford, great-granddaughter Harlie Breann Gentry, great-grandsons Brian Daniels and Ethan Daniels, and a brother William “Bill” Jewell. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters Brenda Gentry and husband Harvey and Ruth Wells and husband Terry, grandsons James McNew and wife Tammy and Conner Bradford, granddaughters Melissa Johnson and husband Charles, Glenna Belcher and husband Alfred, Carla Bradford, Kim Cherwinski and husband Ryan, Nichole Pack and husband Clayton, Amanda Garretson and husband Jack, great grandchildren Jake Johnson, Gabby McNew and Walter, Justin Bradford and wife Alli, Trevor Belcher, Alee Belcher, Cheyenne Wellman and husband Josiah, Austin Taylor, MaKenzie Taylor, Blake Parton, Natalie Parton, Madison Pack, Tyler Wells and wife Madison, Brady StClair, Kelsey Garretson, and Bryson Garretson, ten great-great-grandchildren, nephew David Jewell and wife Betty, brother-in-law Sid Bradford and wife Patty, sister-in-law Darice Bradford, special friends David and Linda Epperhart, and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will at 12:30 pm on Friday, July 18th, in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Bro. David Jewell officiating. "Kelsie James Beavers Sr., 81. of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, April 17, 2608 in а
local hospital."He was born April 27, 1 926 in Caretta, W.V.. to the Iate James and Hazel Beavers.
He was a United States Navy Veteran serving in both World War ll and the Korean
War in the Construction Battalion. He was a member of the VFW Post#1491 ."Mr. Beavers was a retired salesman from Wil—Burt Compeny after more than 30years
of service. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Chumh and was a charter
member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. he was а lifetime charter member of
the Chattanooga Water-Ski Club, and was instrumental in starting the East Bralnerd
Ball Fields."His sisters, Erma, Phyllis, Bonnie, and Dana preceded him in death.
"He is survived by his speciai friend, Ms. Billie Jennings. of Hixson; daughter, Linda
Beavers Wagner and her husband, Jack Andrew of Chattanooga; son. Kelsle James

She was born October 26, 1931 in Bartley, West Virginia to the late and Blanche & Ernest Woody, Sr."She raised her children in Chattanooga before moving to Nashville where she lived for 25 years. After 20 years of service, with Family and Children's Services for the State of Tennessee, she returned to Chattanooga five years ago.
She was a former resident of Creekside Retirement Community."She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and the BYKOTA Sunday School Class. For many years, she volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader as well as a Church Youth Leader.
