"Bobby Eugene Toler, 86, of Oceana, WV, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV from a massive stroke. He was born on May 13, 1939 in Sunhill, WV a son of the late Olin Toler and Elsie Harvey. Bobby loved being outside working in his garden, going up in the mountains ginsenging, fishing and making people laugh. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Helen Josephine Murphy, and a daughter Linda Sue Hoosier. Those left to cherish his memories include three daughters Kim (Charlie) Runyon of Alderson, Glenna (Boyd) Wilburn of Fayetteville, and Bobbie Joe (Mark) Morrison of Winfield, two sons Edwin (Kim) Toler and son Daniel of Summerville, SC, and Olin (Pat) Toler of Sophia, NC, fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, a niece Debra (Bruce) Hyatt and her three kids and four grandchildren, three nephews Harold Murphy, and his two children and five grandchildren, Darrell (Debra) Murphy and his two children and five grandchildren, and Larry Murphy and his two children and three grandchildren all of Colorado, a special friend Mooty Toler of Sunhill, and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, October 15th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Pastor David Johnson officiating. He will be laid to rest in the GC Toler Cemetery, Sunhill, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 1 pm until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV."
