"Rita L. Webb Morgan, 66, of Brenton, passed away Monday, April 23, 2007, in Raleigh General Hospital following a long illness.
"Born Sept. 19, 1940, in Wyoming County, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Virginia Osborne Webb.
"In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Oley Morgan on Oct. 15, 2003.
"Rita was a born-again Christian and a member of Brenton Baptist Church where she was baptized by the Rev. Tommy Knotts on June 10, 2001. She was an inspiration to others for her spirit and determination to not let her illness get her down. Rita was formerly employed with Buddy�s Discount and First Community Bank. She enjoyed reading, gospel music, hummingbirds and being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
