"He was a graduate of Baileysville High School and graduated from Southern West Virginia Community College with a degree in Criminal Justice. Also, he was a disabled United States Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War, a retired member of the Ghost Riders, and a member of the Rockcastle Baptist Church at Keyrock, W.Va.
"In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby and Louise Lester, and one brother, Willard Adams.
"Survivors include three daughters, Alina Nikki Adams, Christie Adams, and Codi Martin, all of Pineville; three sons, Gary Lee and Allen Ray Adams and Danny Workman, all of Pineville; two sisters, Ella Shields of Baileysville, and Mary Helen Criner of Odd, W.Va.; one brother, Frank Adams of Baileysville; and numerous grandchildren.
