"CYCLONE-Verna Jane Browning entered into this life on November 24, 1918, and after eight-nine years, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Apri 4, 2008.
"She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford "Clip" Browning; her parents,Burl and Nellie Jane Toler; two sisters, Elsie Grace Takis and Vera Bailey; four brothers, Homer "Jud" Toler, Burl Douglas Toler, Warren Toler and Aubrey Toler; one granddaughter, Margaret Browning; one great-granddaughter, Natasha Watkins; and a daughter-in-law Naoma Browning.
"Vern thoroughly enjoyed life! She loved singing, listening to music, reading, and being outdoors where she could play softball, garden, plant flowers, hunt, fish, and care for her animals.
She was a true blessing to her family and friends. In her community Vern was an active member of Lacoma Baptist Church of Cyclone where she raised her family and was a devoted member of the Ladies Aide. She loved to visit and fellowship with friends and family, support the local school and youth activies, and lend a helping hand to her family and neighbors. Our world would be a better place to live in if we would follow the shining example of the amazing lady who by faith lived a Godly life and was an inspiration to everyone who knew her!
"Vern was the graceful backbone of her family to whom she provided love, comfort, encouragement, and hope through her practical wisdom and thoughtful, nourishing guidance. She possessed strength of character, a keen sense of right and wrong, and a Christ like, unconditional love for others that she instilled in her children and grandchildren through daily example. It was her humble prayer that her entire family would some day join her in Heaven.
Vern was most proud of her family and is surrived by a daughter, Gail Brown and her husband,Danny of Cyclone; four sons, Glen Browning and his wife, Betsy, Bradley Browing and his wife,Teresa all of Cyclone, Garry Browning and his wife, Sherlene of Beckley and Clifford "Tip" Browning of Paducah, Kentucky; she was a devoted,loving grandmother to Chris Brown, who held a special place in her life and heart, Brenda Smith and husband, Rick, Beverly Toler and husband, Bill, Donna Watkins, Alissa Browning, Kendra Rowe and husband, Chad, Linda Keffer and husband, Jared, Stephanie Browning, Lisa Browning, Barry Browning, Sherry Haley, and Clifford "Jr." Browning; she was a wonderful great-grandmother to Phillip Browning who was more like a son, Bethany and Broc Smith,Tiffany Browning, Joshua Watkins, Candace Stewart and husband, Russell, Victoria and Rachel Belcher, Ryan and Reese Keffer. She was a loved aunt to a host of nieces and nephews.

Elmer enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, Ginsenging and spending time with his family. His wife of 58 years Ruth B. Lusk Osborne preceded him in death along with a son Alton J. Osborne, seven brothers, five sisters and a daughter-in-law Ruth I. Osborne. Survivors include three sons Roger and Sue Osborne of Kopper City Bottom, WV, Warner and Quindora Osborne of Accoville, WV and Otis and Linda Osborne of Lundale, WV; a brother Waitman Osborne of Columbus, OH; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; a special caregiver Vicki Lamb and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at noon Sunday April 27, 2008 at the Lillyhaven Baptist Church with Rev. William Cook officiating. "Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the Rebecca's Lodge at Iaeger. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
"Those left to love and cherish the memory of her and to mourn her passing include her loving husband of 43 years, Everett Cochran of Brenton; her daughter, Michelle Cisco of Delbarton; her two granddaughters: Kayla and Amanda Cisco of Delbarton; her brother, Johnny Davis of Gilbert; her sister, Donnie New; her aunt, Athlyn Hatfield of North Spring; and a host of other dear family and friends.
