"He served with the United States Army, Pfc. as an Electrical Engineering Assistant.
"Mr. Allen was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Waynesboro. He was a devoted Christian, loved music and was loved by all who knew him.
"In addition to his parents, he was welcomed home to Heaven by his five brothers and two sisters.
"Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 42 years, Nay A. Allen of Waynesboro; three sons, Robert W. Allen of North Carolina, Paul A. Allen and his wife, Ami, of Lyndhurst, and Michael D. Allen of Waynesboro; his beloved granddaughter, Rachel E. Allen; two brothers, Burl Allen and his wife, Betty, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, and Edward Allen of Mineral Wells, Texas; two sisters, Janice A.
