"She was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She absolutely loved her family and they adored her. She will be greatly missed by all.
"Lois was a longtime member of Brenton Baptist Church. She was a proud born-again Christian who spent her life serving the Lord in so many ways. She enjoyed her time spent teaching Sunday School and dedicated many years to the Baptist Women group.
"In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty- two years, Harry W. Pendry; her son, Harry “Hot Rod” Pendry; and two brothers, Gordon and Andrew Buchanan.
"Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert Pendry, Alice Young and Kathy Cochran; grandchildren, Angela Walker and husband, Clay, Dr. Sherri Young Breinig and husband, Adam, Chad Pendry and Shannon Pendry; brothers, Thomas, Delmar, Emmett Jr, Russell and David Buchanan; sisters, Ethel Belcher and Janelle Phillips; daughter-in-law, Micki Pendry; her caregiver, Lana Blankenship; nine great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and her church family.
