Her husband, Norman E. Rose, was an over-the-road trucker for many years untill he started his own
business. He had 40 drivers at one time. Norman died from complications from diabetes. He was
almost blind at his death. The family rumor passed down from my Dad about a trunk of Molly' Rose's
be passed down from Maude Tate to her son Norman, apparently is not true. Evelyn knew nothing
about such a trunk. She remembered my grandparents, Noah and Laura (Harman) Smith.
