"Born January 1, 1948, in Welch she was the daughter of the late Drewey and Lunda Cook Lusk. Joyce was a member of Cyclone Church of God for 27 years taking membership on January 26, 1980, she served as vice-president of The Ladies Aide for 12 years.
"In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Carless Lusk, Larry Lusk and an infant brother.
"Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 32 years, Darrell Bailey of Cyclone; a son, Jimmie Workman and his wife, Rebecca of Sugar Grove, WV; three daughters, Vickie Osborne and her companion, Harvey of Cyclone, Angela Valencia of Cyclone and Lenore McKinney and her husband, Kevin of Oceana; one brothers, James Lusk and his wife, Beulah of Cyclone; a sister, Charlotte Osborne and her husband, Minnis of Cyclone; two half sisters, Lena Osborne and her husband, Lee of Seth and Alice Murphy and her husband, Brian of Delaware; five grandchildren, Joshua Webb, Kellie Osborne, David Matney, Bethany and Maria McKinney; a special friend, Dewanna Boothe; her church family at Cyclone Church of God; several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

"RAVENCLIFF-Luther Frank Cook, departed this life Sunday, July 22, 2007, in Beckly VA Medical Center at the age of 82 years and 12 days following a long illness.
"Born July 10, 1925, at Mullens he was one of sixteen children of the late Rev. James Frank and Pearl E. Lafferty Cook.
"Mr. Cook was a US Navy veteran having served our country in World War II and in Korea. He was a Civilian Employee at the Eileson AFB in Alaska. He also worked for the Wyoming County Board of Education as a bus driver for 18 years.
"In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lottie Acord Vaught Cook and a daughter Sharon Grindle.
"Those left to cherish his memory are four sons, Larry Cook of Coal City, Boyd Cook of Coal City, Eugene Cook of Lanark, and Danny Cook of Warren, M.A.; three daughters, Terri Blake and her husband, Gregory of Ravencliff, Sheila Manning and her husband, Dean of Fairdale, and Deborah Arcemort and her husband, Paul of Patterson, LA; three step children, Marilyn Fowler and her husband, Harold of Cleveland, OH, Skip Vaught and his wife, Caroline of Jefferson, OH., and Julie Horton of Beckley; two sisters, Shirley Ansel of NC., and June Browning and her husband, Lloyd of Michigan; a brother, Ed Cook and his wife, June of OH.; several grandchilden, nieces and nephews and a host of frineds.

"GLEN FORK- Marion D. Brown, was called home by his Father in Heaven Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at the age of 71 years, 10 months and 13 days following a courageous fight with cancer surrounded by his loving family and friends.
"Born August 5, 1935, in Glen Fork he was the son of the late Alda and Maryland Trent Brown. He was raised by his grandparents, Howard and Martina Adkins Brown due to the death of his parents.
"Marion was a graduate of Glen Rogers High School and Marshall University. He earned a Master's Degree in 1970. He also attended West Virginia College of Graduate Studies and West Virginia University.
He retired from Wyoming County Board of Education in 1988 after 30 years. He was faithfully commited to being a teacher, coach and principal.
"He was member of the Glen Fork Baptist Temple. He also attended the Lillyhave Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife,Frances Lee Grubb Brown.
"Those left to cherish his memory are his sons and daughters, Cindy Stepp and her husband, David of Matheny, Jeff Brown and his wife, Vickie of Glen Fork, Todd Brown and his wife, Deanna of Glen Fork, Dr. Scott Brown and his wife, Gwen of Clifton Forge, Va.; a special friend, Mary Richmond of Lewisburg, WV.; seven grandchildren, Aaron and Ashley Stepp, Cameron Brown, Taylor and Chase Brown, and Caleb and Lindsey Brown.
