Mrs. Muncy was a former resident of Brenton and had lived in Dawsonville for the past 10 years. "She was the daughter of the late Addison and Margaret Bailey Robinette. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Muncy, and a son, Ted Muncy. "She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith, having attended Brenton Baptist Church. "Survivors include daughters, Melissa Nakaiye of Los Angeles, Calif., and Wanda Cantrell of Beckley; a son, Edsel H. Muncy of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Tammy Sammons, Mark Cantrell and Nathan Muncy; and great-grandchildren, Brittany Sammons and Kaitlyn Sammons. "Mrs. Muncy will be taken to Matheny, where graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, at the Palm Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Tommy Knotts will officiate with the interment to follow..."
