McDowell Nursing and Rehabilitation Center,Gary, WV. He was born May 13, 1930 in Davy, WV,
a son of the late Frank and Bertha Merba Lester Shepherd. In addition to his parents he
was preceded in death by his wife Norma Blankenship Shepherd; a sister Inez Lawerence and two brothers Earl and Freelen Shepherd. Survivors include two daughters Nellie Tuttle of Oceana and
Lisa Rowe of Granite Falls, NC; a son Lany (Michelle) Shepherd of Kopperston, WV; Roy Shepherd
of Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren Chris Morgan, Justin Rowe, Neah Morgan, Zachary Rowe and Dalton Shepherd; four great grandchildren Chad Morgan, Alexis Bailey, Hunter Bailey and Haley
