"Michael D. “Mike” Roberts, 63, of Fanrock, WV, gained his wings on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV following a short illness. He was born on December 25, 1957 in Pineville, WV a son of Juanita Rose Roberts of Indian Creek, and the late Adam “Slim” Roberts. Mike is a 1977 graduate of Baileysville High School, a lifelong coal miner, and a member of the UMWA. He loved serving the Lord, and he never met a stranger. He loved fast cars, fast horses, good coon dogs, game roosters, and good food. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by two brothers Charles “Chuck” Roberts and James “Bubby” Roberts; and a lifelong friend Roy Bailey. In addition to his mother survivors include two daughters Belinda Bailey Mullins of Welch – Pineville Road, and Cindy Bailey of Panther; a sister Karen Roberts of Indian Creek; a nephew Dakota “Cody” Roberts of Fanrock; a granddaughter Abby Le Fevers of Welch – Pineville Road; special friends Eugene Smith, Kenny Stafford and Steve Bailey; and a host of other loving family and friends.
