"Born May 2, 1913, at Asco, he was the son of the late John Robert and Alice Kirby Lambert. He was the last survivor of his immediate family. "Mr. Lambert was a retired coal miner, having worked 47 years in the mines. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Lambert loved going to church and gardening, especially flowers. "In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Ollie Mae Green, Gertrude Morgan, Carrie Morgan and Connie Collins; and six brothers, Charlie, Robert, William, Frank, Roy and Weaver Lambert.
