" Mrs. Myrtle Cook Paynter. 79, of Cyclone died at 4 a.m. Tuesday in a Man hospital after a long illness. Born Aug. 21, 1888 at Coal Mountain, she was a daughter of the late Gaston and Mary Kitts Cook. Her husband, Garfield Paynter, died 16 months ago. Survivors include a son, Calvin Cook of Man; a sister, Mrs. Pricie Tyree of Huntington; a grandson and a great-grandson. The funeral will be held at 11 am. Friday in Evans Funeral Chapel in Oceana with the Rev Oval Curtis in charge. Burial will be in Cook Cemetery at Lynco. The body will remain in the funeral home where friends may call after 11 a.m. Thursday.."
