Clear Fork, passed away about 12:30 p.m. in a Welch hospital, following a brief illness.
" Mr Acord, an employee of the Clear Fork Coal Company at Kopperston, had gone to the hospital yesterday, driving his own car to Welch. His death came as a surprise ot his family and friends.
"Surving are his wife, Mrs. Delilah Acord; six children, Kenny, Clayrs, all at home; his (sic) Nancy,
Franklin, Junior, Aubrey, mother, Mrs. Nancy Acord, Clear Fork.
"Funeral services will be held at the Toneda Baptist Church at Toney's Fork Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev.
