July 17, 2005, in a Florida nursing facility. "Born Feb. 24, 1916, at Thacker Mines, she was the daughter of the late Epp and Anna Ellenberg
Vance. "Mrs. Cline retired from St. Regis Paper Co. where she was a bookkeeper. She was a longtime
member and treasurer of Westminster and Northside Presbyterian Churches. She was also a
member of the old Norwood Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Garden Club of
Jacksonville "Sabal Palm Garden Circle." "In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Toney Cline; a sister, Anna
Marie Prelaz; and four brothers, Lawrence Vance, Carnell W. Vance, Orville L. Vance and Merrel E.
Vance. "Survivors include her nieces, Shirley Watson and Jan Wikstrom; a nephew, David Prelaz; other
nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews; three sisters-in-law, Elsie Vance Hypes of
Kopperston, Dimple Vance of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Liela Vance of Stuarts Draft, Va.; her good
