Center in Charleston, after a short illness. "Born May 31, 1921, at Bud, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Lilburn and Ella Browning
Ashby. "Mrs. Stewart was a founding member of the Matheny Church of God. She enjoyed being with her
family and attending church. "In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Stewart, in 1982; and a
son, Tommy Stewart, in 1974. "Survivors include her children, Ronnie Stewart and his wife, Jacqueline, of Matheny, Ken Stewart and
his wife, Jeannie, of Matheny, Morris Stewart and his wife, Valurie, of Matheny, Norman Stewart and
his wife, Jewell, of Beckley, and Kathy Brunty and her husband, Greg, of Jesse; 13 grandchildren,
