"Death Comes As Young Man Was Entering Local Hospital
"Shot while hunting Friday with a companion, Clarence Frost, 16. son of mr. and Mrs, S.J. Frost,
Vivian, died Sunday as he was being admitted to Welch Gospital No, 1 for treatment. The young
man received a severe wound to the left leg that it was necessary to amputate the member before
he was removed to the hospital yesterday.
"Young Frost was out hunting on Kimball mountain, with Robert Ryder, his companion. Upon
sitting down Frost placed his shotgun between his legs, with the barrel pointing to his left leg. In
some manner the weapon was accidentally discharged resulting in a ragged wound to the left leg.
"Frost was taken to Kimball by his young companion where first aid was given him, He suffered
considerably from loss of blood.
"Young Fost was well known in that section. He was a student at Kimball junior high school and
was active in affairs of the school.
"Funeral services will be held Tuesday with interment being made at Kimball"
