his residence following a long illness.
"Born April 7, 1925, at Verner, he was the son of the late Ieager and Vera Harvey Browning.
"Mr. Browning was a retired coal miner having worked for Eastern Associated Coal and Island
Creek Coal Company. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather; he
loved his church and his family.
"In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Talmadge Osborne; two
sons, Robert F. Browning and Billy Joe Browning; a granddaughter, Nora Jean Browning; three
brothers, Dick Browning, Forrest Browning, and Clifford Browning; and a sister, Melda Hale.
"Those left to mourn his passing are three sons, Jackie O'dell Browning and his wife, Stella, of
Clendenin, Teddy Ray Browning and his companion, Becky, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Rickie
Browning and his wife, Julie, of Clearfork; four daughters, Linda Kay Browning of Oceana, Teresa
Vance and her husband, Jerry, of California, Sandi Snuffer and her husband, John, of Surveyor and
