He looked down upon the Earth and saw our mommy, the kindest, most gentle, loving, and beautiful angel in the world. He opened the Heavenly Gates and welcomed her home. Her beauty was not only on the outside, but also on the inside. She was a mother to many. Mommy lost her mother as a young child and never knew the love and touch of a "mommy", but God blessed her with that knowledge. She was our best friend. Mommy is at peace now; she is with Daddy. They were apart for two and a half years; the longest they had been apart in their 55 years of marriage.
"Mommy was of the Primitive Baptist faith and had been a member of the Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church for 40 years. She loved to sew and quilt but most of all she loved being with her family and friends. She worked side by side with Daddy to help raise her children. All that knew her knew what a hard worker she was. She was a friend to many and will be greatly missed by all.
