"Euby Faye Pruett, 86, of Atwell Mountain passed away peacefully at Golden Harvest Long Term Facility in Welch, WV, on January 8, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Sadie Deskins Pruett of Atwell, WV.
"In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four sister, Delta Rose, Eunice George, Ida Toler and baby Gloria Pruett; three brothers, Fred, Roy and Delano."Euby is survived by her siblings, Violet Hagerman and late husband Ed of Jolo, WV, James and wife Wanda of Kendallville, IN and Lucy and husband Paul Stacy of Medina, OH; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
"Euby was a long time member of the Mt. Carmel Church of Christ on Atwell Mt. She Received her high school diploma from a correspondence school in the 1960's. Euby worked in the home of the late Al and Hazel Deskins for over 30 years. A cherished friendship between Euby and the Deskins family was a blessing to her throughout her entire adult life.
"On Saturday January 11, 2014, there will be a celebration of Euby's Life at Mt. Carmel Church of Christ. The church will be open from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. for friends and family to visit. Pastor Charley Kennedy is officiating . Burial will follow in the Riffe Cemetery on Atwell ..."
