Ida was an avid gardener with a green thumb, a wonderful cook, a patient teacher, a great playmate for her great grandchildren, and had a knack for soothing babies. In later years, she loved to travel with family, especially to the beach. She was enthusiastic and always up for an adventure, riding roller coasters and playing putt putt golf and bowling in her late 80's. She was a beautiful woman who rarely complained about her circumstances in life and any hardship she had endured."She is survived by her son in law, William Ray Waddell of Paynesville, WV; grand- daughter Athena Leanna Waddell Reynolds and her daughter Katelyn of Keavy, KY; her grandson Ryan Waddell and his wife Joy and their daughter Sarah of Charleston, WV; grandson Jarrod Waddell wife Heather and their daughter Hannah of Kernersville, NC; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
