Moses Blankenship was son of Conley (1828-1911) and Elizabeth Charles (died
in 1899 killed by train) Blankenship. Moses died in November 1937.
Moses had nine siblings: Thomas, David, Watkins, Nicodemus, Margaret
(married ________Bailey), Sarah (married _______Stacy), Armedia (married
______Riffe), Rebecca (married ________Bailey), and Lydia (married
_______Justice).
Moses first married Mary (Anna?) Cline. Children were: Lydia, Martha, Rosa,
Elias, Paris, Randolph, Margaret, and Conley. Moses married second Esther
Annie Runion Peters (daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Francis Privitt
Runion. Esther's first husband was Henry Peters.
Esther and Henry's children were: Charles, Walter, Carl and Henry.
Moses and Esther's children were: Moses Jennings, Bertha Elizabeth, Pearl,
and Elmer.
